Introducing REBOUND: Empowering Youth with Choices
Serenity Renewal for Families is thrilled to launch REBOUND, a transformative program kicking off with a pilot at 2 Catholic schools including, St. Patrick’s Intermediate/High School, where Sister Louise— once Vice-Principal—saw firsthand the devastating ripple effects of addiction on students and families.
Now, in a full-circle moment, we’re reaching 120 youth in grades 7 and 8 with Choices and Choices Jr., an evidence-based curriculum that can be adapted for ages 8-17, built on the YWCA Life Skills Model. Through engaging activities tailored to diverse learning styles, REBOUND equips young people with vital tools—communication, decision-making, resilience, substance awareness, and more—to navigate peer pressure and life’s challenges.
With plans to expand to more high schools and elementary schools in September, this program is a proactive step toward prevention, offering kids the power to choose healthier paths and sparing families the pain Marianka once knew.
